Do not let your hard work go to waste. The SCCT verification program requires 50 independently read mentored cardiac CT angiography cases per year to maintain level II certification and 100 mentored cases to maintain level III certification. The CBCCT requires 50 mentored cases to be read in the preceding year to qualify for the board exam in cardiac CT.

If you are not yet up and running with your cardiac CT program, Cardiac-CTA.com will assure that you may fulfill your maintenance requirements easily and inexpensively. We offer two maintenance methods:

With our innovative on-line program you may review our mentored case library in the comfort of your own home, on your own computer and on your own time. No travel is needed. You may choose from either a Vital Images or Tera Recon web based thin client work station with full capabilities using your own home or work computer. No dedicated cardiac-CT workstation is necessary. We provide one for you on line. (coming soon!)
Alternatively, if you have your own dedicated cardiac CT workstation, we will mail you an external hard drive with the DICOM data of our library cases for you to load on your own workstation for review on your own time.

Once you complete the cases we review your emailed reads and provide you with our official reads and feedback with advice on how to improve your reads if needed. In addition, we will present you with official documentation of your maintenance experience that meets the SCCT and CBCCT criteria for documentation of continued experience in cardiac CT.

We believe that in this ever changing medical environment where imaging is heavily scrutinized, board certification in cardiac CT angiography will become ever more important to assure reimbursement and credentialing. The level III faculty of Cardiac-CTA.com (all are diplomats of the Certification Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography) has prepared a highly acclaimed state of the art, up to date and complete board review program that will earn 20 category I CME hours. Our faculty are among only slightly more than 700 world wide diplomats of the Certification Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography and are in a unique position to provide you with all of the information necessary to pass this examination. Our faculty are skilled teachers and possess the unique ability to communicate information concisely and effectively making difficult topics easy to understand and remember. Our program is divided into 10 sections. Sections 1 through 10 include the following topics:

Section I: Cardiac CT Angiography Basics,
Section II: Calcium Scoring,
Section III: Important Concepts in Radiation,
Section IV: Patient Selection,
Section V: Cardiac CT Angiography Data,
Section VI: Artifacts,

Upon completion of the program and questions, the participant will earn 20 category I CME hours.
